The CMW Digital Glaze Book contains over 7,500 glaze tests for 15 base glazes and includes recipes and images for all of them.
Full Course Experience
Our most popular interactive and collaborative option! ​
Each Full Course Experience Includes:
- 4 months of Matt’s expert guidance with access to course materials – released on a drip schedule for optimal learning pace.
- On-demand lectures are released weekly – students can stop and start and rewind to rewatch as many times as they’d like. All courses are closed captioned in English.
- Hands-On Learning Labs – students will work with the instructor to select a glaze to test throughout the course. A recommended materials and equipment list is provided upon enrollment.
- Live Q&A discussions with Matt and the other students – bi-weekly options to choose from. All discussions are recorded, so students can watch at any time if they cannot attend. Attendance is not mandatory.
- Continued access option available through Patreon.

- Understanding Glazes – Our comprehensive beginner glaze course. Offered 4 times each year in January, April, July and October. All levels of students are welcome. This is our most popular course!
- Introduction to Clay Bodies – Learn about the science behind clay bodies. Offered 2 times each year in January and July. All levels of students are welcome.
- Advancing Glazes – Next-level course to learn about glazes. Offered 4 times each year in January, April, July, and October. We ask all students to take the full course of Understanding Glazes in order to take this course.
- Crystal Ball – Our newest course that focuses on microcrystalline glazes. Offered 1 time each year in October. All levels of students are welcome.
