Full Course Experience

Our most popular interactive and collaborative option! ​

Each Full Course Experience Includes:

  • 4 months of Matt’s expert guidance with access to course materials – released on a drip schedule for optimal learning pace.
  • On-demand lectures are released weekly – students can stop and start and rewind to rewatch as many times as they’d like.  All courses are closed captioned in English.
  • Hands-On Learning Labs – students will work with the instructor to select a glaze to test throughout the course.  A recommended materials and equipment list is provided upon enrollment.
  • Live Q&A discussions with Matt and the other students – bi-weekly options to choose from. All discussions are recorded, so students can watch at any time if they cannot attend.  Attendance is not mandatory.
  • Continued access option available through Patreon.

Available Full Courses:

  • Understanding Glazes – Our comprehensive beginner glaze course. Offered 4 times each year in January, April, July and October.  All levels of students are welcome.  This is our most popular course!
  • Introduction to Clay Bodies – Learn about the science behind clay bodies. Offered 2 times each year in January and July.  All levels of students are welcome.
  • Advancing Glazes – Next-level course to learn about glazes.  Offered 4 times each year in January, April, July, and October.  We ask all students to take the full course of Understanding Glazes in order to take this course.
  • Crystal Ball – Our newest course that focuses on microcrystalline glazes. Offered 1 time each year in October.  All levels of students are welcome.

Self Guided Lectures Only

A great option for students who want to learn at their own pace!

All Self Guided Lectures Only Courses Include:

  • Immediate, unlimited access to lectures upon enrollment with monthly subscription
  • On-demand lectures – You can stop and start and rewind to rewatch as many times as you’d like.  All lectures are closed captioned in English.

Available Self Guided Lectures Only Courses:

  • Understanding Glazes – This is our Introductory course on glazes and how they work. All levels of students are welcome.  Optional lab experiments are included.
  • Introduction to Clay Bodies – Learn about the science behind clay bodies.  All levels of students are welcome.
